Text: Iida Turunen Pictures: Erasmus+ Team Finland

On Sunday, 2nd of February, we went on an exchange trip to Slovenia. There were four of us from Finland, Emil, Leo, Luukas and Iida. The exchange school was located in Race, Fram. Race was located near the town of Maribor.

We got to know many Slovenian students but also students from other exchange countries like Germany, Cyprus and Spain. The Slovenian school had organized a lot of activities for the days, for example, we went on a tourist tour in the city of Maribor and Ptuj, and we visited in Uranjek farm. We were also supposed to go downhill skiing, but the weather conditions didn´t allow it. Because of that, we went swimming and ice skating.  The host families had also planned us many activities for evenings, like bowling and eating outside.

However, the best thing about the trip was getting to know new people and the new experiences we had during the trip.
